* Wayne reminded all that overtime is not sought or desired as a regular course of work. While there are occasions for overtime that are appropriate, over time should ONLY take place if authorized and approved by a supervisor in advance.

This coming Tuesday at 9:00 am, MRP will be here to share with us what is changing and impacts, etc. They are also available for advisors sessions all that day and the following Thursday. And, of course, we may ball at any time.
* Wayne shared that we can make changes to our contribution elections at any time by going to the provider web site. However, IF one makes a change, they must let Lydia know so she can also update payroll. The systems are not tied together, so Lydia must be informed.

* Luke shared that our email plans have evolved over time. Currently, we are sending out emails regularly that seek to encourage moms that they CAN homeschool and to highlight the value of Sonlight products and services. There are less promotion that in the past.
* Luke also shared a short voice mail from a new customer that was so excited to begin using Sonlight and was thrilled with the catalog.
* We also had several anniversaries to share today, and among them was Susan's 20th Anniversary with InquisiCorp!

* Wayne shared that we have gotten some estimates from Acklen Avenue regarding a new shopping cart. Ther fees were higher than we'd like, so will need to digest before determining our course of action.
* Wayne shared that Luke will be moving toward a "connector" role more over time. To begin with, he will be reaching out to customers, prospects, competitors, employees, and vendors, all to gauge more clearly who we are seeking to serve and how best to do so. Hence, be open to Luke visiting with you on occasion.

If any changes are made, the difference between when to heat and when to cool should be at least 4 degrees apart. Otherwise, the system does not know how to operate.

* Please note, we have many items in the warehouse in the convention display area. ALL those items are for convention use only, so please don't use or share. Thanks!
* We will soon have our Executive Owners Meeting, and we expect to share the latest for our first quarter. Compared to budget projections, we are doing fairly well in sales/revenue. Compared to last year YTD, we are not doing as well, as we had an extraordinary March 2015. Also, while revenue is perhaps somewhat stable compared to budget, it is not up compared to previous seasons. Furthermore, we have a steep curve to overcome the decline in numbers of customers from previous years. So, we have much work to do and are excited that we can make headway.
* I shared an inspirational video that speaks to helping others as a matter of our daily walk.

* We all need to be diligent and alert to phishing scams. In particular, there are some sneaky ones that seek access to tax data for businesses. The basic rule: Do not open an email or ANY attachment that you do not KNOW for certain is legitimate and even asked for. If the IRS, for example, really needs input from us, they will call or send us a letter. Do not be fooled by nice looking or official looking emails, even if they have links to what appear to be official sites. Likely - they are scams!

* Our year has started out well, with revenue holding somewhat steady. As the first quarter in 2015 was extremely robust, our quarter over quarter revenue is down. We seek to overcome in the coming months with the revelation of our newer products and updated IGs, etc.
* The number to watch is our customer count, which is down more than we would like so far this year. That is the one particular area we will want to address.
* We are working with a team that approached us to help develop a Sonlight learning management system, similar to what we tried some time ago via e-Light. We will see how this goes - FYI.

* The Holzmann family and I met last Wednesday. The outcome of that meeting:
* We have agreed that a new position be established in the company, called the InquisiCorp Creative Director. This position is now filled by Jonelle. She how has responsibility for marketing and product development.
* Hence, we are no longer seeking a new Marketing Director. Instead, we are going to seek earnestly a Marketer, a person with substantive marketing experience and expertise. In the meanwhile, we continue to have LOTS to do:
* Go Live, Core F, new season preparation, and ALL that is associated with these.
