2015

Typically right before April 1 we throw away all remaining stock from the previous season (except extra activity sheet sets). The business decision this year is to sell the remaining stock from last season before releasing the new 2015 merchandise.

Brief Run-Down of Soft Release:

Full Grade Packages

One IG runs out - Replace everything (new IG's and new binder)

New Binder/Old IGs - OK

Core Packages (Binder is not a part of the core package, it is ordered separately)

Old Binder with new IG - OK

New Binder with Old IG - OK

Core Packages A, B, C include Language Arts - OK to send old Core Guide and New LA guide and vise versa

Per Tim: We are replacing separate activity sheets when corresponding guide is replaced For High school levels- when one component (LA or History) switches we replace both the student and parent for that core.

A master excel has been created to assist with the soft launch. Please use the 2015 Soft Release Excel to access the following:

Current edition year being sold
What criteria has to be met in order to release new product
What needs to be updated (packages and/or items)
New IG Release Date

Effective April 1, 2015 we created a new 600 level for our college prep courses. Please see this excel to reference the old vs. new skus: 2015 New Skus

2014

Reprint Some 2013 and New 2014 Editions Released

2011

Renumbering with Letters

The Renumbering Committee met a number of times to devise a system for 2011 that would:

Mask the grade level of items included in our Core and Science packages, so that customers could more easily see that these packages are appropriate for multiples ages (per John’s request).
Also, help staff to maintain, even enhance, efficiency in picking and understanding a logical (but not obvious) numbering scheme.
