Pick Line Stocking Procedures

Employees are not to help themselves to inventory. All inventory must be ordered from the Receiving Department.

Mark will be the Receiving Department point of contact throughout the 2008 busy season. Please route non-routine questions and concerns to Mark.

STOCKING PROCEDURES:

1. Customer Fulfillment will upload the stocking list files to the M:\ Drive by 10:00 AM each day. There will be two files: one for three pick areas, and a second one for two pick areas and the bulk area.

2. Mark or Nate will open the files and sort them if necessary. They will then print the lists and distribute them within the Receiving Department.

3. Receiving will pull all the stock on all the lists by the end of the day.

4. Receiving will label each cart to indicate the pick area to which the cart belongs.

5. After the stock has been pulled, Mark or Nate will delete the files off the M:\ Drive in preparation for the next day.

6. All Receiving employees (regular and seasonal) will serve as points of contact for emergency requests.

7. Shipping employees are not to go looking for stock or for the Receiving employees. If they need an item, then they are to submit their need to the employees in their department designated to work with Receiving.

8. If Jerry or Pavica pre-receive any itmes, they will send an email alerting the following employees of the pre-receiving: Adis, Alice, Cindy, Julie, Mark, Nate, and Peter.
