The following are basic troubleshooting techniques for our phone system:

Troubleshooting Voicemail
If voicemail stops working/answering, there is a very simply solution:
Log into the server and run the services manager (Start -> Run -> services.msc -> Ok) or click the shortcut I’ve ‘pinned’ to the start menu, scroll down to Voicemail Pro Service and insure it is started (if not, or not responding, you can right-click it and stop/start it or restart). You may have to ‘restart’ the voicemail service a couple times before it responds. You may also get an error trying to restart it, in which case it will stop, just start/restart it. Doing this saves you from having to reboot the entire server.
