Is Inquisi Corp AMINISTRY Or BUSINESS

InquisiCorp, Corp., including Sonlight Curriculum, Ltd., by Mission and Vision, is a Christian company. But what does that mean?

In the simplest form, it means the owners of Sonlight are Christians and have decided to infuse Christian principles into the way they lead and run the company. They endeavor daily to seek God's wisdom in the decisions they make and in the actions they take. Of course, they are human beings, so they are following their faith as best they know how.

However, they have not abandoned business principles. As such, InquisiCorp, Corp., is NOT a non-profit entity. We are indeed a for-profit entity. Thus, we are regulated by the many levels of government, must pay taxes, etc. Nonetheless, John and Sarita seek to follow Godly principles, as best they understand them, in the practices of the company, including the business practices.

While InquisiCorp is a Christian company by design and decision, we are NOT a ministry in the same way that a missions agency or a church may be. We DO seek to minister to others AS we conduct business. So, we are a business that seeks to conduct our affairs prudently and under Godly authority, serving others for profit.

We have stated to others on occasion that we are not a church, charity, or chumps. We are a business. As long as the business enables the owners to follow Godly principles, conduct their business affairs wisely, and "give" to others from the profits of the company, the business will remain "in business."

In sum, InquisiCorp, Corp., is a business that ministers as a consequence of the ownership seeking to follow Godly principles.
