How To Merge Fulsys Duplicate Accounts In Assist And Webstore

(Multiple Assist and Webstore accounts)

1. Merge Assist accounts first
   1. Determine which account has the most recent order, and merge the other account into it.
      1. Example: accounts 20000001 and 20000002. If 20000002 has the most recent order, merge account 20000001 into 20000002.
2. Merge Webstore accounts (StoreFrontAdmin)
   1. First, determine the fulsys customer numbers for each account.
      1. Search the "Customer" form for the Backend Customer Number
         
      2. Copy the fulsys customer number found on the results screen and associate it with the backend customer number in your notes for merging later
         
   2. Merge the accounts in the same order you did in Assist using the "Merge Dupes Of Diff FulSysCust" tool (administrative privileges required)
      
   3. Enter the fulsys customer numbers into the tool and click "Merge". In a few moments you should receive a "Merge Successful" message at the top in red text (example below shown without success message).
      

Note: disregard the message about the merging process taking 15 minutes. It used to take this long but I added the necessary DB indexing for this to work much more quickly.
