MY FAVORITE THINGS
My favorite restaurant: Sorry, I don't have just one. I like several. However, closer to the top of the list may be places like Los Dos Portillos, Texas Roadhouse, and Sweet Tomatoes.
My favorite candy or junk food: Some peanut clusters that are made with reddish sugar coating that I can only find in the South.
My favorite color: Probably blue, though I kind of like white, as it is the presence of all colors (using light as the medium, not pigment).
My favorite sports team: Dallas Cowboys and Wyoming Cowboys. I like cowboys apparently.
My favorite place to shop: Murdocks and maybe Home Depot, though I don't really like to "shop."
My beverage of choice is: Black tea, maybe.
My favorite passtime is: Reading and driving and playing with grandkids and . . .
I don't like: People who do not "think" and most things white and sour.

I collect: Articles to read and junk that I think I must have but end up never using.
My interests and hobbies are: I like hiking, driving, taking pictures, computers, talking or "arguing" politics and religion, teaching, site seeing, and so forth.
Sports I play or have played: I have played football, basketball, softball, wrestled, cross country, track, and many other sports, but not much baseball. I like racketball and basketball to play nowadays the most, I think.
I have 5 children, three that were born to Betty and me and two that are married to two of them. I also have 9 grandchildren
I have no pets. We used to have dogs, but no longer.
My favorite television shows are: Mostly those that are no longer on TV. I kind of like Person of Interest, and I used to be a fan of JAG and Chuck. If I could find old reruns of shows like Sky King, or the Real McCoys or stuff like that, I think I'd find them interesting, even if boring compared to more recent programs.
My favorite musician or band is: I don't really have just one favorite. I like the Boston Pops Orchestra, the Willoughbys, the Casper Troopers Drum and Bugle Corp, the USAF Strolling Strings, Acapella, Hillsong, and on and on.
My all time favorite motion picture is: Again, I can't select just one. I like Dancing with Wolves, Saving Private Ryan, Patton, the Bourne trilogy, Shooter, and more I probably can't recall at this moment.
My special talent is: I think I have a gift to see the "big" picture or have a larger perspective. I'm not certain that is a talent, but that is what comes to my mind.
I enjoy: Getting up early to see the dawn; looking at the Christmas Tree in the dark (only the tree lights glowing); studying something I don't know but would like to know; seeing America; watching my grand children as they is so unique and amazing; quiet times just reflecting on the majesty of God's Kingdon and Creation; eating; listing to music in the dark; laying on my back high in mountains when it is dark (looking at stars); living my life with Betty; my children; my grandchildren, the military; politics; family; friends; co-workers; and I can't really stop, but must move on . . .
A little known fact about me is: I am shy and reticent. OR I have played the accordian in the past. OR I like tings that are sort of plain and simple, not too fancy, whether foods, or clothes, or other things . . .
